Why dont schools update?

also why do they still give us stuff to write on paper? like think about school is to prepare us for the future, the future is TECHNOLOGY even jobs now just use computers to write stuff up why cant schools just change and stop the paper work? if the goverment has lots of money to spend on millions on guns for war surely theyll have enough to get comupter for every lesson or even better why cant we bring our own, school life would be so much better and worth it in the future.
