Hi I'll be travelling to Bangkok this month and am so scared about whats happening there?

It's safe all over Thailand even in the area where the protest are going on. No protester is going to harm you. You can go to the protest site and check it out at government house, it's like a big party, you can take pictures of them or have your picture taken with them. Buy some souvenirs and enjoy yourself. Only problem you may have is traffic jam it they decide to march somewhere one day for a protest at another government building. But nothing to worry about, and your hotel is far from the protest site and no airport is closed now.
