Why do people always say Christians are delusional and lack intellect?

I am Christian and I have a lot of friends that are too. My friends that are Christian are the most nicest,sweetest people I've ever known. My one friend and her husband went to school to be surgeons.They love all people and everyone I ever met that is Christian all have a lot of schooling and college hours. They don't seem delusional at all and they seem extremely confident in smartness and very loving and caring towards others going to other countries and feeding the poor all over especially in there own city. All they do is dedicate their lives to saving, blessing, helping, loving, and giving to God and others. They never say God isn't real they say He is very much real and just because they can't see or hear Him doesn't make Him not real. They even talk with Him and they are surgeons tha never did drugs ever with a lot of love in their heart. They wouldn't even hurt a fly. I didn't even know them and when I first met them they showered me with gifts that I had no reason why they did this because I didn't even know them. Now I do know them and how they are so smart and incredibly loving with a perfect 4.0 GPA
