How can i get more friends on facebook?(:?

i have only about 241 and ALL of my friends have like about 550 to 600 and i wanna reach that much. i wanna have that much because when i post a status i want them to "like" it. when i post a status thing only abut 5 people like it. so can u plz help. thanks(:
