Engine swap Corvette motor into '94 Chevy Silverado?

I have a '94 Chevy Silverado ext. cab. I would like to install a late model corvette engine for more hp. What is the most straightforward swap? What will I need from the donor vehicle? I am at the "counting the cost" stage. I live in California and want to keep it smog legal. Thanks for any help.
