What do you think of my guy friend?

I met him in 5th grade and we became instant friends. We sat next to each other from September to March in our homeroom and really got to know each other.All my friends thought that he liked me and i liked him.One of my friends would say I'll get you and him a bottle of champagne for your date.We never go a day without talking.I helped him with girlfriend troubles (his girlfriend is in the same grade with us , 6th grade and she is my friend but he didn't want to make her cry so he told her he would be her boyfriend and all in 5th grade she would stalk him an one time he told me to kiss him so he would make her mad but i didn't) and he always is impressing me and our first day of 6th grade was yesterday and he came up to me at dismissal and gave me a hug we are in different cles and but they are in the same cl he even hit a boy that was bothering me and he always said when we sat next to each other you would be an amazing wife i've always thought if we would ever date but i don't know.
