Easy going friendly dog, loves everyone, but instantly growls at new neighbors?

I agree with the other person. I've always firmly believed that dogs can get a better sense of people than we can! It's obvious your dog does not have any aggression issues otherwise it would be growling at everyone! Again, just keep your distance from these people and listen to your dog!
