Don't you think the US government needs to start help American's?

I was reading in the paper and on the net about the number of soldier's coming home from Iraq & Afghanistan who've served this country and could have died and end up in the streets in the richest nation of the world. Do you think this is right? What is the military or government doing about it? And also, when I was homeless because I was too sick to work the government gave all this help to people who hated my guts because I am an American and told me how much they hated my country. They were given free apartments, free medical, free food, and free educations. I was given a bus p and told to get a job when I had bronchitis and a hurt hand when I fell. How much justice is that? If we went to their countries how well would we be treated? Are we supposed to be "tougher" because we are American's? I think the government should give these people a boot back to their own countries and help our vets get places to live and homeless American's across America! (Just my opinion!)
